Cristi Britton started her career as a stylist at a Paul Mitchell partner school. She quickly realized her heart was in color, and made the decision to specialize. Hungry for education, she trained under former Vidal Sassoon instructor, Rowena Hiraga.
As a Color specialist at Rowena and Takashi Salon she was fortunate to expand her knowledge as a stylist. Cristi participated in events like Sacramento fashion week, and worked with designers Britt Steele and Caren Temple. Working with Rowena Hiraga allowed Cristi to see all the possibilities our hair industry has to offer.
Behind the chair she was introduced to Italian Hair care company, DAVINES. Needless to say; it was love at first sight. She continued her journey with DAVINES as an educator, which lead to the bay area.
Ready to hit the ground running, she landed a job apprenticing Mia Caybut, nominated Best hair color by ALLURE magazine; continuing her education even further. Cristi believes there is no such thing as “too much education”. With education comes growth, and growth is what keeps life interesting and moving forward.
